Jennifer,

One more suggestion. Bottom posting or mixed in below the part being replied to when is best, it make it easier to follow the train of discussion.

Andy,

That will be a hard habit to break. Top posting is my default preference in Thunderbird, mainly because I don't like scrolling through miles of text. I will try to keep in mind to bottom post in the future, or to delete the quote I'm referring to altogether, hopefully without causing too much confusion.

Jennifer

Jennifer,

Deleting the prior quotes is not always a good thing. In the last few messages between us I have deleted the other messages without loosing any information. In this post keeping my last message gives a person that may only catch part of the thread more of an idea of what is going on. Delete unrelated or unneeded material but do not over delete either.

The default preference can be changed in Thunderbird. I can not find the setting right now but will let you know. I know it can be changed as it goes to the bottom when I reply here.

Andy
