However, no in 2.0, the QS is *automatically* loaded after installation, which is a CLEAR violation of these guidelines. Boggles my mind!
At this point all I want to know is what's actually happening, so I can write about it -- not whether the actual behaviour is the way it should be or not. (I won't get a chance to download the public beta for another week, to see for myself.)
Peter, do you mean that in the public beta the QS is now automatically loading after installation? That is, the default behaviour has been changed from the beta candidate? In the beta candidate release that I have (the last one before the public beta), the QS was *not* automatically loading after installation.
