Yes, that is what I mean. However, this has been the behavior from the get go. This is a quote from issue #33624:Peter wrote:
However, no in 2.0, the QS is *automatically* loaded after installation, which is a CLEAR violation of these guidelines. Boggles my mind!
At this point all I want to know is what's actually happening, so I can write about it -- not whether the actual behaviour is the way it should be or not. (I won't get a chance to download the public beta for another week, to see for myself.)
Peter, do you mean that in the public beta the QS is now automatically loading after installation? That is, the default behaviour has been changed from the beta candidate? In the beta candidate release that I have (the last one before the public beta), the QS was *not* automatically loading after installation.

"IS -> CJ: Not so fast, Christian, you described exactly the old process. But is
the problem solved, that forced me, to remove the start of the quickstarter from
setup? The reason was, that the license dialog from the first Office start
appeared at the end of the installation. I cannot see, that someone made some
changes for this problem. Therefore I will not make the changes you propose.
I already posted the following list of todos:
- Ask User Experience, if the quickstarter shall become an optional module again.
- If this is wanted, LO has to make the necessary code changes.
- If all this is done, I will add the module again."
It is not particularly clear, but the QS does load automatically after install, at least in Windows. Check Start > Programs > StartUp, and you will see it there.
This happened just a few days ago when I installed it.
If it didn't load on your in the taskbar, I am confused, because that is what is supposed to happen so that the liscense agreement shows up.
