I don't want to adopt a design that Linda doesn't like.
Linda is a professional graphics designer. We would be wise to seek her guidance. It would be sad if we had a sub-optimal design because we failed to put our most skilled member in charge.
I believe in meritocracy. For the book covers, Linda should provide guidance, and make the final decision.
+1 Well said, Daniel.

I did not mean to advocate that page as much as people seem to think. I was just answering Peter's request to put the logo down there. It's good to let people try out their ideas, and this was just part of that.
That's the way I took it, as part of the discussion. The problem, if there is one, isn't on your side, Daniel -- it's on ours, when many of the rest of us get enthusiastic about something you've put up for discussion. I think we're often too ready to adopt your ideas instead of discussing and refining them first. That's not your fault! (And you have so many very good ideas.)
Cheers, Jean
