Of these two, front2... but I would prefer no links.

IMO, yes. (See our previous correspondence about the purpose of
the page.)
But some people feel that the page looks empty.
It does a bit, but (a) I'm not sure that matters, and (b) if it
does matter, I'm sure we can find some other way to make it look
less empty... at the moment I have no suggestions as to what that
other way might be.
