Well, we were just talking about how complicated it is for new members
to start working and how we should make it easier for them. It seems
odd to a moment later start saying that we should tell new commers
about yet another feature that looks incredibly simmilar to notes and
try to get them to understand when to use which.

One option for mentoring new members is to create a default home-page
for new users.
This home-page will create per default for every new member, if he use
the join-site!
The best way is to create a page with a automatic reload of an existing
page on the oooauthors.org site, like the index_html on
oooauthors.org/en folder (or a page mentoring_html).
The anvatage of this solution is, that they look allready to the actual
content we want from their homepage.
