I don't believe it's necessary to inform any longer about new updates
being available as I received my notice online two or three days ago
automatically via an icon near the right corner of my RC version. Is
that alerting system something new, as I never noticed it before.

I haven't had time to go through the release notes to see what if

I do know of at least one addition to Impress (support for multiple
monitors), which fits into the chapter I'm writing this week. Good
