I don't know the answer to your question, so the rest of this note is
speculation.
Does this option become unchecked when you reopen the same document
that was open when you set it? If so, it must be a bug.
This option even becomes unchecked after closing and reopen the Options
Dialog (OOo-dev 2.2). Seems definatlely like a bug. (I'll search Issue
Trake and file a new Issue if necessary).
