Hello Peter,

Thanks for the great job. Some comments from my side (in complete random
order to make your reading a bit more ... interesting)

Hello Michele,

Thanks very much for the feedback. My responses are in-line below.

Chapter 6: Figure 3: it may be worthwhile to move the small black crosshair
with a circle (btw: what is the name of that thingy?) a bit to the side

It's the centre of rotation, as described in the paragraph following the figure!
As such I considered it to be relevant to the image.

Chapter 5: Figure 10: I liked the other one better (but I am probably biased
:-) )

Can we agree to disagree? The other one revealed the ugly 'jaggies' that
Draw/Impress produces (is there an issue to improve this?) and I felt that image
quality was important here. My picture shows the 3D effect via the extrusion
and, whereas yours was the better image in functional terms, I preferred one
without the step-ladder effect on the outline.

Figure 18: maybe if you select another style the words "My text" in black will stand out a bit more. Also, why the blue background?

You're absolutely right. I'll play with options and let you see the result
before I upload it to 'Feedback'. Blue seemed to offer good contrast and, as an
old sea-dog I feel an obligation to use blue when I can :-)

Figure 1: the arrow above number 5 is not straight (now that's being picky isn't it? :-) )

Damn! That one sneaked past the censor. Thanks for spotting it: it'll be fixed
shortly. In fact I've just taken a short break to do it and I'll upload the file
after we agree on Figure-18.

Chapter 2: Figure 6: I think the text mentions also a custom bullet point
(the old image used a star as custom bullet for one of the levels). If you
don't feel like updating the picture maybe we should change the descriptive
text.

I can't find that reference: all I can find is reference to several customisations, but nothing specific to bullets. Can you point me to the text in question?

Chapter 4 Figure 5: same comment as chapter 6 Figure 3

Same answer.

Chapter 1 Figure 16: I like it a lot. You may argue that we should strive for
consistency in the slide templates we use, but on the other hand this is really a good slide

That's why I left it alone. I agree with you that it fits the bill perfectly and I don't try to improve on perfection very often :-)

Chapter 3 Figure 8: I would prefer to stick to a single font, but it is a
very minor thing

So would I, but I retained the original that was in the document before I came along. Given your comments, and the fact that I don't like Franklin Gothic, I think I will change it. Arial seems harmless; what do you think?

Regards

Peter HB
