From the outline, it seems to me that the preface should be
one of the last things written because it its reader to where in
the Guide to find the information desired. Writing it last just
seems to be the more sensible thing to do.
My goal is to have the Introducing Base chapter written by
January 15, 2008. I also want to have an additional chapter ready
by the 15th of each succeeding month. If at all possible, I would
like for others to review each chapter during the first two weeks
after it is submitted. That will give me approximately two weeks
each month to concentrate completely upon the chapter I am then
writing.

I am hoping to contribute some more in the coming months as well. I
will probably start with filling in some gaps that may exist and
reviewing other areas that need it, but I would like to contribute
some content and I hope I will have some time in the coming months. I
will see how things go over the coming weeks and see what I can
contribute.

Do you have Microsoft Access installed? I don't, and I have
never used
this program (Access). So, someone else will need to provide the
content on
using OOo as the front end for Access.

I have not used MS Windows for quite some years, but I could probably
do the testing and processing using other techniques and a friends
computer. Is that the first part we are looking at doing here? I know
they have comparative guides between Writer vs Word and Calc vs Excel
etc, are we looking at doing one for Base vs MS Access?
