Info for PHB and a question: I tried hard not to add too many figures (14 in
total) and to avoid the need to change existing ones (3). As I trust you
will redo all the screenshots with the Silver theme, I just tried to give you
an idea of what I would like to show.
Michele, your assumption is somewhat optimistic, in that I don't view my
contribution as automatic and lifelong. I originally committed to produce a
selection of screenshots - at Jean's request - for a limited selection of
documents and I've enjoyed doing it, but I don't have infinite time to spend on
this activity. You may certainly see me as an ad hoc resource, available on
request to perform a finite task, but please don't assume that I don't have a
life ;-)
Actually I should gain soon admin rights on my work PC which runs WindowsXP
so I can switch to the XP Silver theme and give a hand with the screenshots:
which program do you use to capture the screenshots?
I produce screenshots by the standard Alt+PrintScreen, or PrintScreen as
necessary and then normalise them to 96 dpi in PaintShop Pro, or The GIMP. Any
text annotations are either taken from Help Tips and screen capture, or I
construct them in tables in Writer and then chop them out. Drawn elements such
as arrow lines are created in InkScape in a layer over an imported screenshot
and then I export the drawn layer back to PaintShop or The GIMP as a layer over
the original image. This is necessary as bitmaps do not travel well between
InkScape and raster programs.
A summary of the new figures is given at the end of each changelog, in some
cases I added some text in angle brackets <> describing what I would like.

Michele, I don't want to create any more screenshots until the documentation is
stable. Constantly reacting to change is guaranteed to trigger my boredom
threshold and frankly I see no need for further change at this time. If and when
consensus emerges regarding your proposed changes, and if you still want my
input, please awaken me from hibernation. :-)
