Hi

To log in to the OO.o author web site I need my user name. Can someone tell me how to fetch my user name?

There should be a spot on the OOoAuthors Web site listing the member names (a very long list, probably with dormant members)--some, a very few, with graphics. Somebody will probably chime in with the correct URL.

If you further need help, I'll try and look for it. Could you supply some hints?

BTW, how many chapters for you to write can I put you down for?

Gary

Hi Gary

Thank you for being willing to help me.

I went back to the web site to see if I had missed something, and indeed it insists on my logging in before it will give me anything. I clicked the link "if this does not work for you ..." and it sends email back to this list. Sorry about the repeated request.

As far as hints for you, I don't have any. I use the email address [EMAIL PROTECTED] when I registered.

With regard to a number of chapters to write -- Normally, if a document can be misunderstood, I can misunderstand it and will ask questions. Authors usually liked my reviews of prepublication CS manuscripts when I was teaching at University. However my time is limited, for I am very active performing on the double bass, in chamber groups and orchestras here in Western North Carolina. I am nevertheless willing to contribute. OO.o is "my" word processor.

However, for now, I still need the user name to fetch my password. Any help will be appreciated.
