hi ya wichert

thanx for your comments....

i have a bunch of machines for testing linux/apps...
i did NOT build the deb box nor do i maintain it...
but i do use it and fix it... and know we got deb-2.1 from
linuxcentral...the other debian guy comes in regularly
to patch it up to what he wants...usually see some errors
here and there but nothing alarming...

am planning tomake cheap linux cd's..$5.oo stuff...
too...wanna be a "me too" and give away with the 1U boxes
pre-installed with "our version" of config/setup
and remote sysadmin

am on the debian-users list

for autofs....one would think one could get
autofs-3.1.5 from the kernel tree...do its magic
and be able to run autofs ???
vs "apt-get upgrade autofs"

thanx
alvin
