It should first read the auto.master yp map and then the local
auto.master file. This then allows you to set up the home directories
and the exported files systems, followed by local settings. Also, I
totally agree with the new /etc/auto.master file being crazy for
example, who wants to automount their floppy, cd, etc from 
/var/autofs/misc. (strange indeed).
