I wrote avirec, because I was not happy at that time with vcr. But I stole
a few ideas from vcr, and the cmd line options are similar. There is also
some code from vcr, I think for mp3 encoding in capproc.cc. I do not
remember exactly.

But I cannot work on it any more, too much RL. I even have difficulties
caring for my other OS projects.

Bram, I think you should merge some code from avirec into vcr, or
vice versa. Just a suggestion. It is probably also a good idea to keep
capproc.cc common for vcr/avirec and qtvidcap.
