Hey, I have 2 questions regarding away3d. I'm learning away3d by making a small 3D interface: http://ciri.be/porttest/
The black "screens" are movieclip textures on a cube. I'm having 2 issues though: 1) When i make the cylinders in the middle longer (and thus the cylinders sligthly touch/overlap the sphere in the middle and the screens) I get a huge performance decrease (19 FPS => 3 FPS). 2) Away3D doesn't always seem to render the cylinders in the middle right. E.g. they appear in front of the "screens" when I make them a bit longer although they shouldn't be there at all. You can see a small artifact of this in the tv-screens in the current version (a circle intersect is visible). Other than that, I'm loving away3d. Any help regarding how to fix one of both issues would be greatly apreciated! Regards, - ciri
