After a very long time of frustration, I do not think this works:
line=new LineSegment({material:new WireColorMaterial("black"),
start:new
Number3D(-150,0,-300), end:new Number3D(150,0,300)});
-----
namely, I have to declare it like
line=new LineSegment({material:new WireColorMaterial("black");
line.start=new Number3D(-150,0,-300);
line.end=new Number3D(150,0,-300)
for it to work.
So essentially the start and end values cannot be in the initial
construction afaik.
