it doesn't mean that it was the cause. But seams its only on XP machines as well. try make test file with only 3d to test on these machines, nothing on top.

Good try :) but we've not used any filters in 2D or 3D

For the BBC race guide, I got same, or lets say, I got very similar
weird issues.
testing here on many machines, I found out this was happening only of
certain machines
but allways machine running XP.
There is something in the player that is conflicting somehow.

the problem was also very weird, each reload showed different artefacts.
It was happening when some filters were applied.

My fix was simple, and lucky, I've isolated the 3d from the filter
using extra layer

I hope this helps.

Actually DirectX is a set of drivers for 3d acceleration, with it
for instance, the most of games in the market are build. They kind
of control the way your graphic driver works in your computer also.
But does this matters to Away3D? I mean, I didn't know away3d
interacts with DX or some other specific computer api.

This sounds odd to me, so, can be this kind issue some graphic
driver conflict or similar?

this is definitly no away problem, neither a corrupted file.

just to make sure, tell me: the computers you talk about are they
not
only windows machines?
and they do run XP and they have a certain version of the directX?

Hi

New to this group and not a programmer by any means - so
please be
patient.

We have created a stylised map of the UK in Cinema4D and use
Away3D in
Flash. Occasionaly and for only a few people on certain machines
or in
certain locations the map 'breaks' it's been described as broken
glass. The polygons become random leaving a view with the UK
made up
or triangles going in every direction and being unrecognisable
as
the
UK.

We've remade the model but the same people are getting the
problem. I
suspect either corruption in downloading or maybe a display
driver
conflict - fact is I haven't a clue where to start.

Help!!!

All suggestions welcomed.
