the dimension of the viewport in both Away3D and Away3D Lite is
determined by the clipping property on the view:


                        view.clipping.minX = -400;
                        view.clipping.minY = -300;
                        view.clipping.maxX = 400;
                        view.clipping.maxY = 300;


this can be set diredtly (as above) or set by creating a new clipping
object (the default is RectangleClipping) and resetting clipping on
the view instance
