>From what I'm reading around here, I need to use a COLLADA plugin to
export my models in DAE format from 3ds max 2010, like opencollada or
colladamax. Why is that? Is it a problem with the native COLLADA
export from 3dsmax 2010? Is it a shortcoming of away3d that the
native export is not handled? I just want to be clear, as I was very
confused when I tried to export a simple model as a DAE and it didn't
work in away3d, although the 3DS export of the same model DID work.

Also, if I was to choose a COLLADA plugin for Max, which one have you
guys used and which ones do you like? What are some of the
limitations of your choice? Thanks alot.
