Hello Fabrice,
I really wish if I could get a reply. I would be able to do the
required test/stuff today. Please reply if you get some time.

Hi Fabrice,
Here are results of few other tests I did. These relate to
Bitmap
Materials with some sample fabric bitmap of cloth.
First change for test in both Away versions - I used BASIC-SORT
instead of CORRECT-Z-SORT.
As the vertices are rendering incorrectly in this mode, I do
For version 3.5 - set ownCanvas = true for one of the cloths i.e.
Salwar
For awaylite - set layer property for one of the cloths i.e. Salwar
These thing gave me substantial speed boost. Thanks for these
features!!!

Away test version - Awaylite
1. Direction of light = (0, 0, -300)http://www.dnyandeep.com//demos/3d/away-test/clothes-with-fabric/Clot
...
2. Direction of light = (0, 10, -300) (with no other single change
anywhere)http://www.dnyandeep.com//demos/3d/away-test/clothes-with-fabric/Clot

For Away3.5 version, the rendering seems to look correct but the
light
is rotating unnecessarily with the model. I created this
specifically
so that it will help you give me more correct idea about what I
should
do for this problem of light.
Also, in awaylite:
If I change the y coordinate of direction of light and set it
to
anything other than 0, it is rendering the specular regions like
'ghost' as I mentioned. As you said, I have played a lot with the
properties of directional light and set
directional.ambient = 0.05;
directional.diffuse = 1;
directional.specular = 0.2;
Actually, it seems that the specular regions created with Awaylite
are
perfect considering the direction of light. however, I am really not
getting what I am doing wrong and why specular is rendering like
ghost
effect with Awaylite. As mentioned earlier, the same case happens
with
Away 3.4.2. Again just to mention, there is no such "ghost" effect
with 3.5 version, however I am facing issue of rotation of lights
with
model in Away 3.5.
I am really stuck with this project only for the lights issue and
everything else regarding 3D is working EXCELLENT. I am very very
very
happy with speed of execution as well. I sincerely request you+David
to read my last 2 messages too and kindly help me solve this
issue, am
really in trouble and felling helpless/clueless.
Pleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaase help.
Waiting for your message,
