Do you mean falling straight through as soon as it comes down?  I
haven't seen that in trying your app.  The sphere does however have z
sorting issues when you move the plane around while the sphere is
rolling on it.

Since z sorting is kinda lost at the expense of speed in away3dlite
you need to kind of fake some stuff.  The best way I found to do this
is to use layers in away3dlite and push the plane to the back of the
scene so the sphere always renders on top of it.  Here's a link from

That won't fix all your problems though as it won't look right if the
sphere falls off the back of the plane.

Also, this is a shot in the dark, but you can try upping the frame
rate from 30 to 60 in hopes that the increased amount of renders will
allow the physics to catch the sphere before it gets through the
plane.
