Hi Michael,

This was up on the list a while back. We don't mind competition, but
this particular engine seems to be Flash Player 10 only (no mention of
Molehill)? We're really focusing on Molehill right now, and with the
stuff we've got going in Away4, all we can say to the competition is
"bring it on!" ;)

Seriously though, this seems to be an engine developed for their own
games only, whereas Away3D is general-purpose. Obviously any single-
purpose implementation of anything will run faster than a general-
purpose one, but we like to think that Away3D is so popular because it
is a great general-purpose 3D engine with tons of features. And that's
what it will continue to be, even as we're pushing the limits in terms
of performance.
