Thanks to an unexpected gift of round tuits[1], there is now a git repo at http://github.com/espenhw/slim-xinerama/ with Xinerama support. If you're interested, please try to break it. :) The changes will find its way into the upstream patch tracker once the Berlios server decides to process my registration...
