It's amazing. I have de Sousa on my father's maternal side and Borges on my mother's paternal side, but from Sao Miguel. Suzanne Carreiro, my cousin from the group has her ggrandmother de Sousa married to a Borges, but from Sao Miguel also. It's too bad we couldn't make a connection from one island to another.
