Yes, her name is Annette. She wrote me a thank you after I returned home. The interisland luggage weight was 40 pounds per bag, I believe. I, too, left luggage at the hotel when I flew to the other islands from Terceira. I still had to pay more because of he purchases I made on those other islands. The only time I took the boat from Terceira to Faial, it took 8 hrs., the water was rough; the room where we sat was filled with smoke; outside, the smoke stacks spewed smoke. I have never done that again except to take the ferry between Faial, Pico, and Sao Jorge. Those trips are pretty short (in the summer they have an express) that makes the trip between Pico and Faial 15 minutes and there are several trips every day. I like staying at Joe's Place in Madelena, Pico. Joe lives in San Jose, CA and rents rooms in his old house in Pico. It really gives you a feel for living in the Azores and you can walk to town, take the ferry and get to Faial or Sao Jorge without much trouble. Celeste
