Hi Ronnie, I went to Guadalupe, Ca. about 15 yrs ago and found Oso Flaco but it was just a Road not an actual town. There was a church there built in 1875 Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. I will try to see where they would have kept the baptismal records for that church. I don't know why they said they were born in San Luis Obispo if it was in Santa Barbara County. I am still trying to get records from the church for a wedding on one of my relatives and keep getting the run around. It has been since Dec and they keep saying someone else has the records. I called the Diocese in Oakland and they told me the records are at Christ the Light Church in Oakland. I called them and they say the records for this wedding are at the Diocese.
