Hi Pat,My husband and I took 100 photos yesterday. We used a front projection screen reader. The camera was a point and shoot Olympus SP-700, 6 mega pixels resolution. We disabled the flash, used a tripod positioned about 4 to 5 feet from the screen, and used the document setting in which the contrast between the text and background is increased. We were lucky enough to have all of the lights dimmed (very important). We have found room lights interferes with the quality of the image. We are going to experiment with another camera and will keep you informed. I wouldn't go out and get this camera as the quality is barely readable. Tish
