Lisa I have a Francisca De Andrade (b about 1710), wife of Jose de Mello, had a son named Antonio de Mello born about 1734. I believe Francisca De Andrede was from Santa Maria.
Any connection? Your last name, Lema, is it pronounced like Lima in Peru. That's also my husband's last name and I was wondering if someone changed the Li to LE in Lima? My humble opinion is that many of these people with the names you mention married. It seemed common for cousins to marry in my husband's line. I have Da Silva's marrying Silveira's. I'll be looking for better explanations than mine here. Sorry I'm not much help but thought maybe there was a connection.
