He actually immigrated in 1906. He arrived in Boston on 8/6/1906 headed for
Martinez, CA.  So, yes, he was here for the 1910 census. He would have been
in the Martinez area for both 1910 and 1920. Which is about 15 miles west of
where he was in the 1930 census. In 1920 he would have still been living
with his parents. He didn't marry until 1925. His parents names were Manuel
and Mary/Maria Medeiros and he had a brother named Manuel and two sisters,
Mary/Maria and Lizzy (Alice). Lizzy was born in Martinez. The others were
all born in the Azores.

I ran it through Ancestry with no problem.  They have him indexed as
Medeiros.

The census says he immigrated in 1910 and he has filed his papers to become
a citizen.

Where was Jose in 1920 and was he in America for the 1910 census (census day
was Apr. 15th 1910)?
