Cheri,

Well that would make sense. They are listed as "illegible" when you search
for them but here are the details:

Fifteenth Census of the United States, 1930.
State: California
County: CONTRA COSTA
Browse Description: TWP. 16
Enumeration District: 7-56
Description: TWP. 16 AND BAY POINT, NICHOLS, AND CLYDE VILLAGES
Sheet Number: 3A

They are house # 50

Josef Medeiros (his name was really Jose)
Mary Medeiros
Lorraine Medeiros

Thank you

Jacki,

Pd. is not a code for that column. It's PA (Pa) for Papers filed, NA (Na)
for Naturalized, and AL (Al) for Alien.

Can you say where you found your ancestor on the 1930 so another pair of
eyes can take a look?

You didn't have to be a citizen to have Social Security.
