Hi Harvey, My greatgrand father Manuel Jerome Francis was born in Ponte Delgada, Flores on Feb. 18, 1856 he came to this country when he was 14 teenand married in Stonington, Ct. He had a brother Jose and Joao and they went by the name of Jeronimo not Francis. They lived in Worcester, Ma. Don't know anything about them. Would like to know more about them. Maria's brother name was Manuel Francis Feno went by Manuel Francis until the late 1800's. All his childrens middle names was Francis. He returned to Flores for his sons wedding using the name Manuel Feno in 1907. The family first went to Mass. Then the families moved and settled in Alameda County, CA.
