OK, even Canto in the late 1800s and Rodrigo Rodrigues in 1929 had a hard
time with these records.  They were deteriorating then.

Dec 1691 (that's all that can be read), a Manoel (surname unreadable), son
of an unreadable da Costa(?), deceased, and Barbara Correia of Nordestinho
married a Maria Cabral, daughter of a Caligto de (Macads) and a (Ursula)
Furtada.

That's the earliest I can find.  The Nordestinho marriages start 1700s. So
if Barbara married where she was from, you won't find the marriage in the
film.  That is, if it's the right Barbara.
