Dear Listers, As you all may know the 1940 Census will be released in April (in fact the week we are in SLC for our Azores Conference!). There are many things that you can do know to prepare for your research. Go to the site that most of us use for Ship Passenger research: stevenmorse.org and scroll down to the "Census" section. Steve has a whole section on how to prepare, then he has step-by-step directions on how to use the 1930 ED's to find the 1940 ED's (these are NOT the same for each Census year!).
