Sam, The primary source info has the most weight. A primary source is something that was generated at the the time of the event (a birth off of a birth certificate, a death off of a death certificate). Secondary sources have less weight (the birth date from the death certificate, for example). Technically, a census only puts a particular person in a particular place at a particular time. Other than that, it's more of a secondary source.
