Hi,

If I may add to Janet's .. it is a father writing to a son.

He writes: I am writing to you not because I have received a letter from
you but from the letter you sent to Rosa. My son, I am letting you know
they were looking for you with orders to march on the 12th and because you
are not here things are turning ugly.......he goes on to say that his
mother takes to bed every time she ears about his situation thinking about
him. He also says that if he shows by January for him to advise he was
away for a very short time and that he should say he was sick and that Jose
Amaro will know what to say to a doctor who will do him the favour but that
it must be in secret and not for the Consulate to know.
