Lee, Norberta Amorim is the coordinator for the CITCEM (formerly called NEPS) database. She is a Socialogy professor at the University of Minho. She has authored many books in addition to the website.
You can access the website at: www.ghp.ics.uminho.pt Go to the Genealogies sub-menu to access the Azores. Since my earlier e-mail, I've been playing with both CCA and CITCEM and I've found out that Laureanna's father was born in Sao Joao not Sao Mateus. His parents are Tome Ferreira and Maria Josefa. The other note of interest is that they have him as Manuel Ferreira Goulart not Ferreira Matos. The birth and death dates are exact matches, however. (I was curious because Sao Mateus showed a birthdate but no parents which didn't make a lot of sense. So I explored other villages.) The Sao Joao database at CITCEM shows four more generations in that village. That's as far as I've gotten so far. Anyway, I hope these small tidbits help.
