Tanks Doug-  the different bits of information all say he was (they were) 
fromSao Miguel.  I even wondered if they were fm Santa Maria and maybe it was 
considered Sao Miguel.  One starts to stretch reality in the search for elusive 
ancestors.   Thanks.
