Hello Margaret: Again I am indebted to you for your help. I'm embarrassed that I didn't pick up on the parish and didn't find Clemente. I am super happy you found him. I also realized I was looking at a section in Sao Sebastao that was expostos. (Died?). The expostos were integrated with live births. Still, I have found ancestors I wasn't looking for when I go page by page.
When I saw the birth record for Clemente today, i was certain I'd now find Domingo's but again, he alludes me. I will to go through each page for the years 1870 to 1874 even though he said his birth year was 1874. I noticed Clemente's birth date was not the 8th but the 18th. Come to think of it- (I think I had even ordered the microfilm for Sao Sebastao looking for Domingo's some time ago before the CCA came online. I've been looking for his information for years. You have helped me move forward. Yay!! Margaret, you have given me renewed hope that I will find him and Maria and Manoel. I think there was another child but I'll keep looking. I can't begin to thank you for helping me so much. I only hope sometime I can help someone like that. I've helped members of the church with their family history and searched for their ancestors but haven't been as successful as you. Thank you. By the way would you be able to send the link again For the immigration from ancestry. (?). It didn't come through. I'm using an ipad but will check the MAC to see if I can get it there.
