Where does your Brilhante Medeiros begin? There is a whole branch in Ponta Garca, which were known to my family and parents. It is a nickname that became surname. this second such Brilhante line that I have encountered from this list. Are you the same researcher as in the past search?
I have as the parents of Maria Francisca, Filipe de Melo Mendonca and Antonia Pacheco Pimentel, married May 9, 1729, Sao Jorge, Nordeste. I think her name is Anna Moniz, not Anna Maria. She died in the church of Sao Francisco, Ponta Delgada, which I beleive was a well known hospital-church of the time. You will references to it.
