Actually Herb, the names Pimentel, Cabral and sometimes with Soares, appear quite often in Nordeste. You will see that our ancestors used the names interchangeably. Not good one way, as it confuses people, but on the other hand, great because it expands your name base and and gives clues as to whom your ancestors are, when records are missing. So I think the record Pam gave you is correct. This Cabral line may be the same as mine. Not sure yet.
