Richard, are there variations in the name of Maria de Sao Jose, the spouse of Joao do Rego Baldaia. Does she go by other names? Because Rego Baldaia is big name that should be found in RR and even C. Machado. There is one record in RGE, Sept 24, 1753, Joao do Rego Baldaia cc Maria Bicudo. He was viuvo of what looks like Izabelinha de Payva or Umbelina de Paiva, buried in RG Matriz.
