Both Bicudo and Rego Baldaia are big names, yet I could not find it in Carlos Machado. I also find it perplexing that your ancestors did not use the more illustrious name of Bicudo. If have that Bicudo usage later on, that's a pretty good evidence. So keep searching, you are almost there.
