Suzanne, the first date is the correct date for the middle record; 28 Nov 1697.
This marriage is from Santa Amaro, Pico island Dominos Nunes, son of Domingos Nunes and Maria de Terra (you should get a secon opinion on Terra) To Maria Cardosa, daughter of Francisco Viera/Vieira Valim and Maria Cardosa. I think they are fro Funchal? The others are from this parish. The record underneath isn't a footnote but a different marriage record that continues on the next page.
