Rois was abbreviation for Rodriguez.  Thank you so much.  David I'm so excited 
we have a connection.  My husband, Paul Lima, is descended through Joao and 
Anna's daughter, Izabel de Lima.  I couldn't find her birth record but since 
you said your ancestor Manoel, was the second child, I will have to go over the 
names again and see if I missed her.  If you need the names and birth records 
of the children, I have them and can send them to your u.
