There is no kit in the Azores DNA project under your email address. So I
can't answer your question with 100% certainity without seeing the tree
attached to the kit and which test(s) were done.

Once FTDNA runs a test (any test), they store the vials for at least 25
years. No, the results from one test can't be used for another, but the
vials can be pulled and a different type of DNA test run from those vials.

If your husband's father's father's father's father was Sebastiao Jacome de
Resendes (The top of his pedigree chart), then log into your husband's DNA
page, look for the blue UPGRADE button towards the upper right corner,
click it, and look for YDNA 37 or 67. You can do 111 if it's in your
budget. The Y37 or Y67 will get you into a genealogical time frame. You
could always order less markers and add on more later.
