It depends.
Deaths from about 1910-1915 to the present are at the various Civil
Registries. You need to know the name of Anna's parents (which you never
stated, so I assume you don't know), their date of death and which
freguesia they died in. If you don't have that information, then they
cannot do a look up. There's no SSDI or California - like Death Index
there. They do not do searches. You give the specific person and the
specific date and they look them up in a specific freguesia.

If the death is from before 1910-1915, the records are at the Archives.
Pretty much the same thing - you need their names, date of death, and
location for them to look it up. They don't do searches.

You never answered the question about having the actual marriage book image
or record. Not the half page certificate. That could be one huge clue.
