Hi Thanks for your reply, it was very helpful. I am familiar with the Familysearch site. But knowing the steps to use in researching so thanks for including them. I believe Jane Whittle was born in the Azores circa 1800. I have also read that her guardian Henry Lloyd was the temporary governor of the Azores he was born 1784 died 1844.
