Not every page!

However, just picking one page at random, http://www.bbc.co.uk/1xtra/ - this
has no feed but seems to comprise of a number of stories. My assumption is
that you are using a CMS to do this - it wouldn't reduce the number of
visitors to the site if there was an RSS feed, surely?

As a big Drum and Bass fan then I would like a feed from
http://www.bbc.co.uk/1xtra/drumbass/ - if it were me doing this I would have
a standard "rss.xml" file in each folder...

Yeah, but if you use iGoogle or similar to monitor sites, they are invisible
without the RSS feeds!

For example, I had no idea when the Guardian changed their "home page"
design, because I never look at it - I use the RSS feeds from the sections I
want (Media, Technology) so I can avoid the stuff I don't want (Sport etc).

Also, RSS is very easy for search engines to index, and you don't get onto
the "add stuff" buttons of iGoogle without an RSS feed. Type in "drum and
bass" for example and there's no 1Xtra (sorry, BBC Radio 1Xtra).

The main reason I use iGoogle is that I have six or seven PCs that I use
over the days - a few servers, PCs in different offices, laptops etc -
iGoogle allows me to keep my stuff in one place and access it as I require.
