Regarding the issue with TopDir not working for cpool. The issue was
first reported 4 months ago, after that it was reported by other 4 or
5 people (.

Some patches were suggested, but I see that there is little agreement
on what to do. For instance, the Debian bug for this issue was closed
with "As written in the README.Debian file, the proper way to move the
pool is to use symlinks, not modifying $bpc->{PoolDir}, so I have to
close that bug.", which I believe is inappropriate, since the config
option is there and it only does not fully work due to a bug.

The solution seems to be simple, so could you please spare 5 minutes
to have a look at this issue, and at least bless one of the patches?
If you don't want to roll out a 3.1.1 release with that fix that's OK
with me, as long as you have blessed one of the patches it will be
easier to get it incorporated on Debian's and Fedora's packages which,
at least in my case, solves the issue.

Thanks a lot!
Filipe
